Wednesday, and again no dataset was due: every monthly release window has closed, and the two releases on today's statistics calendar — a Northern Ireland benefit cap report and HMRC's tax-free childcare figures — are not series we cover. So nothing was fetched, and there was nothing to compare. The quiet stretch runs until the September releases begin; the first scheduled fetch is the Met Office station data at the start of the month.
Two standing gaps, for the record. MHCLG's new temporary accommodation figures, published last Wednesday in a changed file format, still await a human reading before our software will parse them; until then the homelessness series ends at the quarter we already hold. And the August prison bulletin never appeared in the Ministry of Justice's usual window, so we watch the announcements calendar for it.
