Three of our four datasets were in a release window this morning and all three were fetched: the monthly prison bulletin, DfT's port freight tables with the CAA's airport statistics, and MHCLG's temporary accommodation figures. None of them had anything new in it. The latest prison bulletin is still July 2026, the latest airport month is still May 2026, and the latest quarter of temporary accommodation is still October to December 2025 — the same figures we read yesterday, and 16,947 port and airport values compared between the two vintages came back unchanged.
Today's edition is a few hours late. A fault in the software that downloads the publishers' files, not in the files themselves, kept us from reading anything at all this morning; it was fixed and the whole day was re-run before this was sent.
