A Sunday. Nothing publishes at the weekend, so the fetchers ran, the archive gained a vintage, and the detectors found no new period at any of the four publishers. The shelf had nothing ripe: the five dossiers on it were all short of their triggers.
This edition is a fixture, written by hand on 11 August 2026 to prove that the thin-day path renders in the email and in the archive. No email was sent for it: its status is fixture rather than sent, so it carries no send receipt, the archive does not count it among the editions that went out, and the home page does not show it. It is the one file in the editions directory that does not describe a real morning.
